John E. Cormier, MSA, PMP
John E. Cormier, Colonel USAF (retired), is a consultant, a certified project manager, and has over thirty years experience in leadership positions. He has served three terms as a vice president for the Washington DC Chapter of PMI and is now a Director-at-Large.
John retired from the Air Force in 1982 as a Director of Logistics and joined Singer-Link as a program manager for the design, development and production of nuclear power plant control room simulators. He held subsequent positions as Director of Programs, Director of Operations and Executive Director. With the divestiture of the Singer Company, John joined TRW as a senior staff member of the Directorate of Business and Finance. John left TRW to start his own project management consulting company.
John has a baccalaureate degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Science degree from George Washington University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
